Megam water falls

Overview

The Megam water falls is just 5 kilo meters from Kallakurichi. The cascade falls from a height of 500 meters from top of the hill. The source of water for the cascade is the South east monsoon. During the season, the site is surrounded by the clouds and hence it is known as Megam water falls. September to December is the best period to visit and enjoy the water falls.
